Amaya Nursing Slip Dress Dusty Pink

I had a similar style Ripe dress to this in my first pregnancy so was happy to pick this floral one up on sale after my second baby for nursing wear. I prefer my older one to be honest - this one isn’t quite the pink I expected from the photos and the nursing access slit is a little small for ease of use. Also honestly, who has the time to be handwashing stuff ? I have washed this dress twice now and found you have to be super careful lying it out to dry, as the tag says it definitely needs to be flat … the first time I draped it over something and it got a funny kink in it and the hips sat weirdly, so I had to wash it again. The second time I felt it had shrunk a little in the wash but to be fair it stretched out again within ten minutes of wear. Overall, I prefer my older similar one and reach for it more often, but this was a massive sale so I don’t regret adding it to the collection

I bought this dress for a wedding and while it looks beautiful there are some definite design flaws:

-The nursing access is impractical and not stretchy enough. I had to pull my strap down to nurse instead.

-The skirt is completely see-through and not lined at all. Disappointing for the price. I had to buy a slip skirt to wear under it.

-Difficult to hide a nursing bra under it.

-Fabric creases far too easily. I wore it for a wedding and although I steamed it in the morning it was a crumpled mess after the ceremony. I ended-up changing into my Ripe layered knit dress for the reception which has much better nursing access.
